Eventi letterari Monte Verità
Eventi letterari Monte Verità brings international voices from literature and philosophy to Ascona, where it stands as one of Switzerland’s foremost literary events. The festival offers a space of encounter across linguistic regions, cultural perspectives, and contemporary forms of thought and writing.

Cenacolo Monte Verità – supporting emerging literary voices
The Cenacolo Monte Verità is a workshop format dedicated to emerging authors from Switzerland’s different linguistic regions. Each edition takes shape as an intensive writing environment led by an invited literary figure, where individual and collective practices are developed within a shared working space.
The project operates as a framework for literary production and reflection, where writing emerges through exchange, discussion, and translation across Switzerland’s national languages Italian, German, and French. It creates a setting in which different writing practices and perspectives intersect.
Over the years, the Cenacolo has brought together significant voices in contemporary literature, including Paolo Di Stefano, Michela Murgia, Alessandro Leogrande, Prisca Agustoni, and Fabio Pusterla.
The Eventi letterari Monte Verità are positioned within the Swiss and international cultural landscape as a reference framework for contemporary literary discourse. Their curatorial identity has evolved through successive artistic directions, including Joachim Sartorius, Paolo Di Stefano, and more recently Stefan Zweifel, in collaboration with Maike Albath and Stefano Knuchel, shaping a profile at the intersection of literature, philosophy, and contemporary forms of thought.
Within this context, my work focuses on linguistic mediation across the festival’s languages and on facilitating oral exchange within the Cenacolo. It also includes the translation and editorial revision of literary texts by invited authors, later published in the festival’s official catalogue.
