For more than 75 years, the film event on the shores of Lake Maggiore has been a leading platform for independent cinema within the international festival circuit.

 

Over the course of 19 editions, I collaborated with the festival across various areas of communication and editorial production. My work included writing, language editing, and translation for both print and digital publications, as well as ongoing editorial work on the festival’s official catalogue (approximately 400 pages), published in four languages — contributing to content development, editorial refinement, and linguistic coordination within a complex multilingual environment.

At the same time, I worked as a liaison interpreter for the Open Doors programme, dedicated to the development and support of international film projects. This role required linguistic precision, mediation skills and a strong understanding of both artistic and production contexts.

The result is communication developed over time that remains clear, coherent and attentive to the voices of the festival’s many contributors, translating them into language that is precise, accessible and aligned across formats. Editorial work that becomes part of the festival experience and its narrative identity.
